Reservation & Class Cancellations
As we require and hold space for pre registration, we also follow the following reservation and cancellation policies.
Reservations
Effective upon reopening, students must sign up in advance for classes via our website or on our online app on the App Store or for Android. In-studio classes will be made available for reservations 7 days in advance. If a class is full, students may add themselves to the waitlist. Class and waitlist reservations are subject to the cancellation & no show policies and fees, set forth below. If you are a current student at Yoga Pod, please follow these directions to reserve your class
In-Studio Class Cancellations & No Shows
You may cancel a class reservation with no penalty up to 2 hours in advance via this website or our mobile app (early cancel). If you cancel within 2 hours of class, you will be debited for the class (late cancel). If you have an unlimited class package, you will be assessed a $10 late cancel fee. If you are absent from class or arrive after the 5-minute late entry cutoff you will be assessed the above-mentioned penalties or a $15 no show fee. Late Fees and No Show fees will be charged to your card on file. These fees are subject to change. By making a reservation, you agree that Yoga Pod Boulder is permitted to charge your card on file in the event that you cancel after the Cancellation Cutoff or do not attend a reserved class.
Class Waitlist
If a class in full, you may sign up for the class waitlist. If you cancel a waitlist reservation before you are moved into the class, you may do so with no penalty. If a mat space becomes available, you will be automatically be moved from the waitlist into class in the order you signed up. If you are moved into class from the waitlist, you will receive an email notification. To receive this notification, you must opt-in to emails from us. If you are moved from the waitlist into the class, you will be held to the same cancellation & no show policy above. Therefore, we ask that you take a waitlist reservation as seriously as a confirmed class reservation. By adding yourself to the waitlist, you agree that Yoga Pod Boulder is permitted to charge your card on file in the event that you move from the waitlist to the reservation list and you cancel after the Cancellation Cutoff or do not attend a reserved class.
Live Streaming Cancellations & Workshop/Event Cancellations
You may cancel a live streaming class at any time, with no penalty. Workshops and Events have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We cannot issue a refund for cancellations that occur within 24 hours of an event.
Liability Waiver
In signing this form and attending a Yoga Pod class, in consideration of and as inducement to my enrolling as a student of Yoga Pod, I represent and agree as follows:
- I understand that if I feel sick in any way, I must stay home to ensure the safety of our community.
- I understand that I will not enter the studio space to attend in-studio classes if I have traveled outside of Colorado in the last 20 days.
- I understand that I will not enter the studio space to attend in-studio classes if I have been physically in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if I have been physically in contact with someone who exhibits symptoms of COVID-19.
- I understand that, in the event that I have tested positive for COVID-19, I must wait 10 days until after my symptoms have completely disappeared to enter the studio space or to attend in-studio classes.
- I will not hold you, your partners, instructors, or employees responsible if I believe that I have contracted the COVID-19 virus while present at one of your facilities.
- I agree to abide by all studio policies, including but not limited to the COVID protocols listed at bit.ly/ypbcovid and posted at the studio.
- I understand that Yoga Pod Boulder reserves the right to terminate my membership or class package for any reason and without refund for failure to comply with studio policies and/or instruction from studio managers/owners.
- I have been examined by a licensed physician within the past twelve months and have been found by such a physician to be in good physical health and fully able to perform all yoga exercises which I am to learn and perform during my enrollment with you.
- I will faithfully follow all instructions given to me by you and your instructors as to when, where, and how to perform and not perform Yoga exercises, it being understood that any deviation by me from such instruction shall be at my own risk.
- I will not hold you, your partners, instructors, or employees responsible for any injuries suffered by me caused in whole or in part by my failure to faithfully follow the instructions of you or your instructors or by any physical impairment of mine not fully disclosed to you in writing.
- I understand and acknowledge that I am to receive instruction in Yoga theory and exercise only and I will not hold you, your partners, instructors, or employees to any higher standard of care than that applicable to school of Yoga theory and exercises.
- In the event that I am pregnant, I will not attend a yoga class until I have discussed the risks with my obstetrician. I will follow my doctor’s recommendation and will not hold Yoga Pod responsible for any injuries to myself or my fetus caused in part or whole by my failure to follow my doctor’s recommendation.
- If I am under 18 years of age, I have disclosed that information to Yoga Pod. In addition to my signature, my parent and/or guardian has signed and dated this waiver of liability at the bottom of this page.
- The tuition paid herewith and such registration fees paid hereafter are non-refundable.
- I grant permission to Yoga Pod to use my likeness in a photograph or video in any and all publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of Yoga Pod and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize Yoga Pod to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute this photo or video for purposes of publicizing programs or for any other lawful purpose. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears.
Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph or video. I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge Yoga Pod from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
